Caparica Golf

 

Description

 

Caparica Golf, formerly Aldeia dos Capuchos, was designed by Portuguese architect Jorge Santana da Silva and opened in 2012 on a headland above Costa da Caparica, about twenty minutes from Lisbon airport with the Atlantic as a backdrop throughout.
Nine holes play to a par of 29, seven of them par threes and two par fours, built around a central lake with gently sloping greens and well-placed bunkers. It's short enough to fit around a beach day, but play the loop twice for a genuine test over roughly 2,800 metres.
Facilities include a driving range, pro shop and clubhouse, part of the Crowne Plaza Caparica hotel. Book Caparica Golf through Tee Times for a quick, scenic round without giving up a full day on the coast.
