Ribagolfe Oaks opened in 2004, designed by former Ryder Cup player Michael King in partnership with European Golf Design. It's one half of the Ribagolfe complex near Benavente, about thirty minutes east of Lisbon, set among stands of cork oak on the edge of the Alentejo.
Oaks is the more open and forgiving of Ribagolfe's two courses, with wider fairways and generously sized greens than its sister layout, Ribagolfe Lakes. Water hazards wait at the 6th and 13th, and bunkers guarding most greens reward a high approach over a low, running one. Despite consistent woodland scenery throughout, each hole is shaped individually, giving the round genuine variety from start to finish.
Facilities include a driving range, a golf academy, resident professionals, a locker room and a clubhouse restaurant. Green fees here are among the most affordable in the Lisbon region, and rounds tend to be quiet, away from the busier tee sheets closer to the coast. Book Ribagolfe Oaks through Tee Times, and check in with us on current course conditions before you travel.
